In the mathematics department of Hormozgan University, scientific and research activities are carried out in three main directions: analysis, algebra and geometry. In each of these research orientations, there are other sub-orientation. In the field of algebra, there are fields of algebraic Hype structures, mathematical logic, Bl and MV algebras, theory of rings and modules, and the field of homology algebra. In the field of analysis, there are research fields with the topics of the geometry of Banach spaces, operator theory, tensor analysis, frame theory, matrix theory and numerical analysis. In the field of geometry, there are research fields of differential geometry and the field of dynamical systems.

In addition, the Mathematics Group plans to develop bio-mathematics, game theory, and machine learning research fields in the future.
